We don’t have a standard range that we work from – we are bespoke, and consultation based, so our main aim is to listen to you tell us what you want. Having said that, our most common kitchens in the past couple of years have been either contemporary handleless kitchens or handpainted Shaker kitchens. You can see images of these on our kitchens page, and also some other styles too.
Read MoreOur lead times are typically eight to twelve weeks, although this always depends on the details of the project. We would always recommend that you get in touch with us as early as possible so that we can ensure that we don’t have to rush the design process, which is where we are really able to work with you over a period to hone everything down to the last detail.
Read MoreWe will usually produce a quotation for all the kitchen furniture, including any internal storage systems and other ironmongery (handles etc.). On top of this we usually quote for worktops, sinks and taps, splashbacks if there are to be any, and any appliances that we will be supplying. Installation is also shown as a separate item on the quotation. We are careful to specify exactly what is included in our quotation, and can advise on any extras that will be needed so that you have a clear understanding of the overall costs before we ask you to commit with a deposit.
Read MoreWe usually start with an online consultation, just to get an initial understanding of what you’re looking for. We’ll schedule a more in-depth consultation, to discuss your requirements, get to know you and develop an understanding of the sort of things you like/don’t like. Following this we will draw up a proposal with a design, and a costing for that design. We’ll continue refining the design in consultation with you until we have something that you are delighted with and sure about.
Read MoreOnce the design work is completed, we will schedule all the dates for installation works, drawing up a chart so that everyone involved knows what we are doing when, and what we need from each other. We provide detailed electrical, plumbing and gas drawings, and attend to make sure that they are carried out as we intend, and that there are no problems. We’ll get the kitchen all ready for installation and keep in touch with you and any other builders or trades on site to make sure everything and everyone keeps to plan.
Read MoreAn average installation will take around 3-4 weeks in total. The bulk of the work is usually done within the first week, at the end of which we organise worktop templating. These take a week to manufacture before they can be installed. Once worktops are in place the sink and hob can be connected. Any wallcoverings (tiles/splashbacks) can be installed at this point. Finally, if you are having a hand-painted kitchen, this will take place once all the rest of the work is finished, and would likely add an extra week onto the whole project.
Read MoreWe are happy to offer this if you have a particular reason to use your own installers, but would usually recommend that we install our own kitchens, as we are accustomed to the way they are put together and can ensure that the quality we insist on in manufacture can extend through to installation as well.
Read MoreYes, we supply and install all types of worktops – you can see on our site some examples, such as granite, quartz, Corian, Dekton, timber, etc. We will digitally template the worktops so that they arrive ready to fit, and the installation process usually takes no more than a couple of hours. Let us know if there’s anything out of the ordinary you want, and we’ll make sure that we can help you with it.
Read MoreWe only supply a few carefully selected appliances currently, such as Bora hobs, Quooker taps, Blanco sinks and taps, and Perrin and Rowe sinks and taps.
We will help you with choosing your other appliances, and will make sure that they will all be compatible with the kitchen we have designed together, but usually recommend that you purchase them yourselves online as you will be able to get the best prices that way.
